As part of the growth of our Cloud Native division, we are looking for a Devsecops Engineer responsible for integrating security practices into the software development and deployment processes. This includes automating security checks, monitoring cloud-native applications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role collaborates with development, operations, and security teams to build secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure. Additionally, the DevSecOps Engineer continuously improves CI/CD pipelines, identifies vulnerabilities, and implements proactive measures to reduce risks across cloud-native environments.
Responsibilities of the selected candidate include:
- Integrate SAST/DAST and Container Scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines to detect vulnerabilities early ("Shift Left").
- Design and enforce Policy-as-Code (e.g., OPA/Kyverno) to prevent non-compliant deployments in Kubernetes.
- Manage Vulnerability Management lifecycle, prioritizing remediation of critical CVEs in base images and dependencies.
- Monitor runtime security threats (using tools like Falco) and lead Incident Response for security breaches.
- Collaborate with developers to promote secure coding practices and threat modeling.
- Promote continuous autonomous learning, and community engagement.
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
Hard Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience working with Kubernetes, cloud native technologies and DevOps projects.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Cloud Native technologies and/or distributed systems.
- Experience with *nix systems.
- Experience with docker and containerization technologies.
- Scripting languages knowledge.
- Experience managing private or public cloud infrastructures.
Language Skills:
Good command of Italian and English (C1), both written and spoken is mandatory;
Good command of French and/or Spanish is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Communication and relationship management;
- Organizational skills and attention to details ;
- Cross-functional team working;
- Risk assessment skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist) or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) are considered a plus.
- Cloud: AWS Certified Security - Specialty OR Azure Security Engineer Associate are considered a plus.
