The future colleague will join the Cyber Security Operations Team in the role of CYBERSECURITY ANALYST – Tier 1, responsible for the continuous monitoring of security systems and tools, initial alert analysis, incident triage, and escalation to higher levels when necessary.

Responsibilities of the selected candidate include:

Constant monitoring of security systems and tools such as SIEM, IDS, and firewalls to detect suspicious activities;

Performing initial analysis of security alerts to assess severity, potential impact, and relevance, with a focus on filtering out false positives;

Accurate logging of all incidents, actions taken, and outcomes achieved, including supporting documentation for escalation processes;

Responding to common incidents in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) defined within the SOC;

Collaborating with Tier 2 Analysts for advanced investigation and incident handling.
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
Hard Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
- At least 1/2 years of experience in Cyber Security service environments;

Knowledge of XDR, NDR technologies, Active Directory and Linux;

Troubleshooting skills;
-
Ability to analyze system, network, and application logs to identify anomalies;

Familiarity with threat analysis frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK;
-
Certifications related to the Cyber Security field (e.g., GIAC Certified Incident Handler, ECSA, CEH) are a plus.
Language skills:

Good command of Italian and English, both written and spoken;

Good command of French and/or Spanish is a plus.
